Holy Top 5 Batman!

Alright, alright, alright! I know what you have all been wondering lately... What kind of stuff is Jordan into, so I know what to be into? Alright... here goes this most recent Top 5

5. Directing 1 with Beth Homan... sigh... It is so fantastic, and interesting, and marvelous. I might be in love with this class/ Beth Homan.

4. The adventure being made by Justin Lewis and I... TONIGHT! Tonight we leave pleasant Salisbury after our rehearsal, drive to Atlanta, stay overnight at a friends house, wake up early to go to his audition, drive back! 12+ hours in a car! WOO! I actually am excited strangely enough, I love a good road trip.

3. The English language. Thank you English language for being so awe-inspiring and fascinating. I want to study you for the rest of my days...

2. William H. Macy and the fact that he plays the ukulele. Look it up... He is brilliant. Me and William H. Macy are basically the same person... we both play ukulele, which makes us awesome...

1. The Mountain Goats. Seriously... Check them out... I know... they have been around for a while... but I have too many other bands I was trying to get into... The Mountain Goats didn't have room, now they do. They are the perfect band for me right now. So... GET OVER IT! But... they are really crazy inspiring me to writing songs, because they prove that you don't need much other than a few chords and some awesome metaphors, which I can provide! So... yeah... their album Get Lonely... get it... NOW!

Side note: CANDACE!! WE NEED TO DO A SONG FOR A COFFEE HOUSE BEFORE YOU GRADUATE, OR I WILL MAKE SURE YOU DON'T GRADUATE! GET IT! ( I mean that I'm probably just going to cry and hope you decide to do a song with me...)

Peace all... I love you all... well... some of you...

For Valentines Day

Don't blame the day... thats one thing i have figured out, its not the days fault... here are a couple of my favorite love poems...

in spite of everything...

in spite of everything
which breathes and moves,since Doom
(with white longest hands
neatening each crease)
will smooth entirely our minds
-before leaving my room
i turn,and(stooping
through the morning)kiss
this pillow,dear
where our heads lived and were.

--Edward Estlin Cummings

The Quiet World

In an effort to get people to look
into each other's eyes more,
the government has decided to allot
each person exactly one hundred
and sixty-seven words, per day.

When the phone rings, I put it
to my ear without saying hello.
In the restaurant I point
at chicken noodle soup. I am
adjusting well to the new way.

Late at night, I call my long
distance lover and proudly say
I only used fifty-nine today.
I saved the rest for you.

When she doesn't respond, I know
she's used up all her words
so I slowly whisper I love you,
thirty-two and a third times.
After that, we just sit on the line
and listen to each other breathe.

I hope you enjoy

ughh

this year has been and continues to be, completely miserable...

I was watching the movie, High Fidelity recently, and their is this monologue in it about whether music or misery came first, and the more i think about it, it was misery. I could listen to the most upbeat music i can imagine and i would still be as unhappy as i am when i put on elliot smith...

i hate this feeling, its awful... fuck this

sorry if this is a complete downer...
